Take a moment…

“Take a moment and sit down in a comfortable chair. Just sit there without having to do anything, without having to think about anything and without having to wait for anything to happen. Just enjoy this moment exactly as it is. Just perceive your surroundings and appreciate them.

We’re so conditioned to think that every single moment has to be filled with purpose and reason that it may seem strange and pointless to simply sit for no reason and with no purpose to achieve anything.

It’s so simple and really one of the most enjoyable things to (not) do!

You might notice things that you hadn’t seen before, like the sunlight making pretty patterns and shapes on the surfaces, or the chirping of the birds, or your belly gently rising and falling with each breath.

If you try it and find that you enjoy this state of Being, you might decide to remain here. You might find your body getting up from the chair, moving, taking action, speaking, and you are still here, just enjoying this simplicity of Being.”
